Q: How long does it take to install a 36-seat flying chair ride?

For a ride of this size, on-site installation typically takes around 7 days once the foundation has been accepted and site access is ready. Manufacturing typically takes 25–35 days , and the required local inspection and approval process commonly takes 7–20 working days , depending on the country and project scope. Ask Carnee Rides to confirm the expected on-site installation period and commissioning schedule for your project. Also allow time for transportation, foundation acceptance, required inspections, and local approvals.

Q: How much does a 36-seat flying chair ride cost?

The estimated EXW price for a 36-seat large flying chair ride typically ranges from US$50,000 to US$60,000 , making it an ideal attraction for high-traffic amusement parks. However, the final total cost depends on the specific model, technical specifications, customization requirements, export packaging, shipping, installation scope, and destination standards. Question 1

What foundation is required for a 36-seat flying chair ride?

Accepted Answer

The foundation must be designed for the selected equipment configuration and actual ground conditions.

For preliminary planning, a typical design for this configuration uses C30 concrete, 12 × M36 anchor bolts, and assumes a ground bearing capacity of at least 10 t/m². Before construction, obtain the manufacturer's foundation drawings and the required structural load information. The responsible engineer should verify the soil conditions, concrete design, reinforcement, anchor bolts, and installation tolerances.

There is no single foundation specification that should automatically be applied to every 36-seat flying chair ride.

Question 2

How much does a 36-seat flying chair ride weigh?

Accepted Answer

For a standard fixed configuration, the total equipment weight is typically in the range of 9–13 tonnes, excluding the hydraulic power pack, electrical cabinet, and perimeter fencing. For the Carnee Rides 36-seat model, the equipment weight is approximately 12.8 t for the same scope.

Because the ride is delivered in sections, total weight alone is not enough for lifting planning. Before scheduling the crane, request the packed dimensions and individual component weights from the packing list — the heaviest single lift, not the total weight, determines the crane specification.

Note that the power pack, control cabinet, and fencing are shipped separately and must be included in your transport and storage planning.

Question 3

How long does it take to install a 36-seat flying chair ride?

Accepted Answer

For a ride of this size, on-site installation typically takes around 7 days once the foundation has been accepted and site access is ready. Manufacturing typically takes 25–35 days, and the required local inspection and approval process commonly takes 7–20 working days, depending on the country and project scope.

Ask Carnee Rides to confirm the expected on-site installation period and commissioning schedule for your project. Also allow time for transportation, foundation acceptance, required inspections, and local approvals.

Question 4

What should be checked before opening a flying chair ride?

Accepted Answer

Before opening, verify the structural connections, rotating and lifting systems, seats, suspension chains, passenger restraints, electrical systems, control functions, and emergency-stop arrangements.

Complete the required commissioning tests, inspections, documentation, and operator training. The applicable approval process depends on the destination country and local regulations.

Question 5

What is the difference between a Wave Swinger and a tilting flying chair ride?

Accepted Answer

A standard Wave Swinger rotates its canopy and lifts the suspended seats as they swing outward. A tilting flying chair ride adds a hydraulic mechanism that tips the canopy to one side during rotation, producing a more intense ride experience. The tilting version requires an additional hydraulic system, a different foundation arrangement, and a higher power rating.

Carnee Rides manufactures both configurations. If you are comparing them, confirm which variant your project requires before starting civil works, because their foundations and installation requirements are not interchangeable.

Question 6

Is a flying chair ride the same as a Star Flyer ride?

Accepted Answer

Not necessarily. A conventional flying chair or Wave Swinger typically uses suspended seats beneath a rotating canopy, while a Star Flyer is a tower-based swing attraction that lifts passengers to a much greater height.

These attractions have different structural arrangements, dimensions, foundations, and installation requirements. If you are comparing them for your park, read our Swing Carnival Rides FAQ Guide before selecting a model.

Question 7

How much does a 36-seat flying chair ride cost?

However, the final total cost depends on the specific model, technical specifications, customization requirements, export packaging, shipping, installation scope, and destination standards.
