Question 1

Can a Tagada Ride Be Installed on a Second Floor?

Accepted Answer

Possibly. Some upper-floor installations are technically feasible, but the exact Tagada configuration, floor slab, beams, columns, dynamic loads, base arrangement and local building requirements need to be reviewed first.

Question 2

How Much Floor Load Does a Tagada Ride Require?

Accepted Answer

There is no universal kg/m² value for every model. The requirement depends on equipment weight, passenger load, operating movement, support points and the structural design of the building.

Question 3

Should the Tagada Be Positioned on a Main Beam?

Accepted Answer

Beam and column locations are important, and positioning the ride relative to stronger structural members may improve the load-transfer arrangement. However, the final position must be determined from the actual building structure and engineering calculations.

Question 4

Can Carnee Design a Larger Base to Spread the Load?

Accepted Answer

A customized support structure can be considered to increase the load-distribution area or coordinate support points with the building structure. It cannot compensate for a building that fundamentally lacks sufficient structural capacity.

Question 5

Does a Faster Tagada Need More Floor Capacity?

Accepted Answer

A material increase in rotation speed, vertical movement or bouncing intensity may change the dynamic operating condition. The ride and building interface should therefore be reviewed again before approving the modification.

Question 6

Is a Tagada Hydraulic or Pneumatic?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the model. The unit discussed in the upper-floor enquiry referenced in this guide uses pneumatic vertical movement, while other Tagada configurations may use hydraulic, pneumatic or mechanical motion systems. See our guide to hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical Tagada ride systems to understand the differences in ride experience, maintenance and venue suitability.
